Manayunk

Manayunk, the river-bank neighborhood at the northwest edge of the city proper, runs a small local market that almost never shows up in the visiting-client conversation. Booking lead times are shorter, rates are lower than Center City at comparable tier, and the hotel base is essentially nonexistent (most bookings here are residential outcall or short incall).

For visitors with no specific reason to be in Manayunk, this is the wrong corridor. For the Main Line and northwest suburbs clientele who'd rather not drive into Center City, it's the convenient middle ground.
